Breaking Bad
Garduno'sBreaking Bad
21. Garduno'sProbably the site of one of the most awkward dinners in television history, Garduno's is where in Season 5, Walt, Skyler, Hank, and Marie have dinner after Hank discovers that Walt is indeed, 'Heisenberg.' Their waiter, Trent, senses the tension and tries to lighten the mood to no avail. Marie suggests to Walt that he kill himself, but Walt urges Hank to stay out of his family's business. The Whites put a DVD on the table and leave. The DVD is a confession that basically implicates Hank in Gus' drug ring and says that Hank forced Walt to cook meth and took drug money to pay his medical bills. Because this is true, unbeknownst to Hank, Hank cannot go after Walt in the traditional way. An actual Garduno's was used in the filming. The food is your usual Tex-Mex fare but they do make the guacamole fresh right in front of you. Ole! Photo Credit: Steve Snowden
