Much like the White House, Gus' unassuming domicile belies the monster that dwells within. While Gus' house is a bit larger than Walt's, it is still a modest home that perpetuates Gus' image as a humble immigrant entrepreneur and philanthropist who pulled himself up by his boot straps to attain the American Dream. But what takes place inside is anything but innocent. This is where Gus invites his employees to intimidating dinners where he cryptically lets them know that working for him will require some dirty deeds. In a dinner with Walt in Season 3, Gus warns Walt to "never make the same mistake twice." When Walt fears for his life in Season 4 after having Jesse kill Gale to keep their jobs relevant, Walt procures a gun and seeks to preemptively kill Gus. When Mike informs Walt that he will never see Gus again, Walt goes to Gus' house to kill him. Before he can get to the symbolic red door, Walt receives a call from one of Gus' henchman telling him to go home, keying Walt into the fact that Gus is on to him. Walt sees another opportunity to off Gus when Jesse makes up a reason to meet with Gus at his home for dinner. Walt wants Jesse to poison Gus with the ricin, but when Gus asks Jesse to cook Walt's product, Jesse stands his ground and refuses to cook unless Walt's safety is secured. Gus assures Jesse that he is not going to kill Walt but that he needs Jesse's help in the war against the Juarez Cartel. The exteriors of Gus' house were filmed at a private residence located at 1213 Jefferson St. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. [Photo Credit: www.projectvic.com]
