When you walk into Zinc you are greeted by warm colors, stained glass, and fresh cut flowers. A bit different from some of the other stops on the tour. This swanky, Nob Hill wine bar was one of Vince Gilligan’s favorite hangs during filming. Upstairs is an upscale restaurant with great food. Bistro classics like steak frites and French onion soup are served by Chef Chris Pope along side seasonal dishes like smoked trout on potato pancakes and sea bass over a chilled noodle salad. After you’ve eaten, retire downstairs and dig some jazz in the red-lit Cellar Bar, which offers the same extensive wine list, premium martinis, and ice cold beers as upstairs but in a more casual lounge experience.
