6. Freedom Parkway
Atlanta, GA
The Freedom Parkway in Atlanta is home to Rick's horse ride in The Walking Dead. The Freedom Parkway makes its debut in the first episode, when Rick runs out of gas. He starts walking and spots a horse at an abandoned farm where it appears the owners committed suicide. He hops on the horse and rides into the city, armed with guns. When he gets to Atlanta, it looks deserted. When he heard a helicopter overhead, he follows it until he runs into a group of walkers. The zombies attack the horse, sparing Rick, but he doesn't have much time before they start coming after him.
