A location used to stand in for another location, this bridge was used for an exterior set where Alexander Pierce, presumably not the same one played by Johnny Depp in The Tourist, tries to run away but is stopped by the roadblocks. Lorain Road Bridge is not to be confused with the Lorain-Carnegie (Hope Memorial Bridge).  This original Lorain Bridge was built in 1897 on the site where the present bridge spans the Rocky River Valley.  Construction began in 1894 and was completed in 1895 and then opened in 1897.  The present bridge replaced the old one in 1935 and was made to retrofit into the natural environment.  It includes 4 steel arches, a roadway which is 40 feet wide and 130 feet above the valley.
