Dean and Sam are investigating a nest of vampires. They order two beers and Sam tells the bartender they’re looking for some people. The bartender responds that it’s hard to be lonely. Sam slides $50 across the table. Telling the bartender that wasn’t the kind of people they meant. He then proceeds to ask a couple of questions about some people who may be rowdy at night. Once Sam and Dean have their information they exit the bar and head towards the back of the building. This is where they come into contact with a fellow hunter who attempted to sneak up behind them when they were questioning the bartender inside. The Billy Miner Pub is an alehouse and café in real life on River Road. It boasts of having the finest selections of ales in the Fraser Valley. The pub also used to be the Bank of Montreal. The wall behind the bar is where the old vault used to be. The building was purchased in 1973 by Bernice and Don Gehring for $11,000. After going through some restoration the building was reopened in 1981 as the Billy Miner Pub in 1981. Bernice and Don Gehring owned the pub all the way up to 2002.
