Sam and the younger brother of the older brother went missing go searching for their lost party members. Sam is worried since Dean has now been kidnapped by the Wendigo as well to be saved as snack for later. When he breaks through the tree Sam finds the entrance to the Wendigo’s cave. It’s an old mine shaft with a sign on the front that says, “Warning! Danger! Do Not Enter. Extremely Toxic Material.” As Sam studies the sign he doesn’t waste a minute stepping through a gap in the boards that had been put up to block the entrance. Just as he disappears inside the camera pans up to words engraved over the mine which says, “Keep Out. No Admittance.” Once inside Sam shines his flashlight around looking for Dean. He hears a growl, and quickly grabs the kid he is with and pushes him up against the wall. As their hiding the blurred shadow of the Wendigo can be seen as his steps echo up and down the mineshaft. Just as the Wendigo seems to disappear from sight the sound of his footsteps become louder. Sam and the kid start to flee only to hear an ominous creak beneath their feet. A second later the rotten boards give out beneath them as they fall into a hole in the ground. Only to wake up and realize they are surrounded by human skulls. It’s possible to actually visit this museum for anyone interest. The Britannia museum is a National Historic Site that is open to the public. Quite a bit happened at the site during the course of its history. On March 1, 1915 there was a horrible landslide that killed 56 people. There’s also a long history of the discrimination against Japanese workers during the time the mine was in operation. Not to mention the railway, called “Skip”, that was a cable-fed line railway. Skip was the lifeline between Britannia Beach and Mount Sheer where the landslide took place.
