In a baseball stadium a baseball player practices his batting. He does it with a smooth rhythm hitting each ball as it comes at him. The player doesn’t notice a man in a blue hoodie up in the stands. The stranger smiles to himself as he sees the player practicing. Raising his hand he pretends to turn a knob in mid-air. The knob on the machine pitching the baseballs jacks up to full power. As the player goes in for another swing his baseball bat explodes when the first ball hits it. Another ball shoots out hitting the player in the shoulder. Just as the player looks up again the stranger in the stands makes the machine move. Another baseball rips out of the machine to hit the player in the face. Killing him instantly as the player falls forward face first on the base in front of him. Nat Bailey Field is home to the Vancouver Canadians baseball team. The stadium is built on Scotiabank Field and has been there since 1951. The love of baseball within the surrounding community has been supporting them for well over 100 years. The mascot of the Vancouver Canadians is Bob Brown bear.
