The Rockbottom Bar is situated on the corner across from the Bootlegger's Inn. It's a much larger venue than Bootlegger's and visually promotes itself as an eatery as well as a venue to those passing by. It is understandable why the food contributes to its success as the menu is excellent. In addition to well priced steaks, ribs and chicken, there is a wide assortment of burgers, including a Bourbonzola burger, made with bourbon glaze and gorgonzola cheese, and a southwest turkey burger that is served with pepper jack cheese and salad.Many dishes on the menu are Cajun or Mexican-inspired, including lobster and shrimp enchiladas, Ahi tuna, Habanero shrimp, blackened chicken salad and their signature tacos, served with a variety of options, such as Cajun fish. They even make their own guacamole to order, literally peeling the avocado on the instruction of your server and therefore ensuring that the food that you receive is as fresh as it can possibly be. Prices range from $10 to $25 for an entrée, but a large proportion of those on offer fall around the $15 mark, making it fantastic value for money, given the quality of the food and the extensive choice that is available daily. They also offer a nice range of craft beers, all brewed in-house and ranging from both pale and red ales to a great dark beer.
