The Big BangMusic City; Nashville, TN
18. The Big BangThe Big Bang Bar was the third bar in the Big Bang chain, opening in Nashville in May 2007 and is the only dual piano bar in the city. The musicians perform on a stage in the center of the bar, taking requests from the audience and encouraging the customers to get up and join in the sing along. The atmosphere is energetic and if you're looking for something a bit different or just a change of scenery from country music for a short while, then this place is certainly worth a look.It is fun and a refreshing form of entertainment. The pianist and other musicians are jovial and engaging and seem to genuinely be enjoying themselves on the stage. Drinks are perhaps a little more than average, but given that there is no cover charge to pay to enjoy the show, this seems irrelevant in light of value you get for your money. There is also plenty of seating in the bar, so if some of the previous venues that you've visited were busy and you were left standing then this is an ideal place to come and rest your feet for a while before you continue your walk down Broadway.
