Carrie and Miranda have a deep conversation about forgiveness at the Ladies' Pavilion. This is a wrought-iron ladies' shelter built in 1871 for the trolley stop that used to exist on 8th Avenue and 59th Street. It is located in what is now Central Park. It sits on the northwest shore of Central Park Lake, and has a beautiful view of New York skyscrapers appearing to emerge from the trees of the park. It almost rusted away and has been vandalized, but was restored in 1979.
