Sherando Park is owned by the County of Frederick. It consists of 330 scenic acres, a 4.5 acre fishing lake, lighted ball fields, picnic tables and shelters, hiking trails, an outdoor swimming pool, soccer fields, volleyball court, and disc golf. The park plays host to a July 4th family celebration, a kite festival, and many more activities throughout the year.
