Situated on a rise near The Great Wagon Road, Belle Grove Plantation offers visitors the opportunity to experience life in centuries of the past. The site includes an elegant 1797 limestone manor house, the original icehouse and smokehouse, a slave cemetery, fields and meadows, scenic mountain views, and much more. The manor house is now a National Trust for Historic Preservation site, and is open for tours daily during the months April through October.
