Welcome earthly visitors to the Hard Rock Cafe. This ornate property was originally built by millionaire William Curry as a wedding present for his son Robert. Sadly, poor Robert experienced poor health as a child and suffered from various illnesses throughout his adult life. When Robert's father died, he inherited the massive family fortune. His frequent illnesses coupled with a poor head for business resulted in the complete and utter demise of everything his father had worked so hard to achieve. The money was gone and Robert fell into a great depression. Consumed by guilt and despair, Robert took his own life in the second story bathroom. He shot himself in the head.Robert seems completely unaware that the Curry House is now the Hard Rock Cafe because he continues to roam these halls much like he did when he was living. Staff and guests alike often see a dark-haired man walk right through walls, disappearing before their very eyes. Near closing time, people frequently hear someone walking around the second floor but the second floor is disserted. It's not unusual for staff to open up in the morning and find that the furniture has been moved around. Robert Curry lives among the staff and guests of the Hard Rock. This was his earthly home and he's not going anywhere. Pull up a stool and keep your eyes peeled. Robert may be just around the corner.
