Litchfield was a local industrialist and resident of Akron who made his fortune by expanding the global operations of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. However, years of exposure to the harsh chemicals, hard work, and old age lead to his death in 1959. His body may have expired, but is Mr. Litchfield's spirit alive and well, roaming Akron in search of his next great business venture? As a staunch supporter of education, it is only natural that his spirit would chose to linger at the school named after him. Janitorial staff have reported hearing doors opening and shutting at night, as well as footsteps and disembodied laughter as Paul's spirit reviews old textbooks and reminisces on his childhood.
