8. Summit Beach ParkThe onetime Million Dollar Playground on the shore of Summit Lake, Summit Beach was once a popular amusement park built in 1917. The park was home to a number of famous attractions; Hilarity Hall, the world's largest fun house, and the world's largest mosaic tiled swimming pool. Today, the Park is a dangerous place rife with crime and poverty. It is located near a low-income housing project, so the prospective ghost hunter must exercise caution. The lake is said to hold the spirits of several unfortunate children who drowned there years ago. Roam the banks of the lake and you may hear them laughing and playing in the wind. Not particularly terrifying, as far as ghosts go. But those who are sane enough to fear clowns should keep on their guard, as the spirit of a clown reportedly burned alive in a tent fire has also been sighted.
