Tucker Hall is an infamous building on the college of William and Mary campus. It has long housed the English department, but it is also said to contain the tortured souls of students who took their own lives. In the 1980s, a female student was frantically studying on the top floor. Overwhelmed with anxiety and feeling that she would never pass her exam; she walked to the bathroom and hanged herself. Several years later, the body of another female student was found hanging in the exact same spot. The girl had left a note, simply saying, "She made me do it." In 2004, an alumnus of the college took his life in the building. No one knows what supernatural forces may be at work in Tucker, but several students have reported being approached by a ghostly girl. She asks students if their exams are going well, and for those who reply happily, she angrily bangs her hands on the windows and walls, howling in rage until they leave. Tucker is currently being renovated, and has remained empty since 2009. However, you can still sometimes see a light shining from a window on the top floor, as students all across campus are studying late into the night. Source: iTour, original
