Along with enhancing his bat gear Bruce Wayne upgraded the Wayne Enterprises headquarters to a chicer International style building in The Dark Knight. Constructed in 1967 as the city's civic center the building was renamed Richard J. Daley's Center after the city's mayor passed in 1976. Richard J. Daley Center is the first major building to be constructed in a modern style with corrosive tensile steel that is designed to rust and strengthen over time. The Daley Center is linked with the Daley Plaza which adorns a massive unnamed Picasso structure referred to as "Chicago's Picasso" or simply "the Picasso." The Plaza also displays an eternal flame memorializing those lost in WWI, WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Towering forty stories high, the building only contains 31 floors due to the high ceilings of it's court rooms. Occupying one of the 121 court and hearing rooms, Harvey Dent makes a memorable introduction with his daring display while prosecuting crime lord Falcone's successor, Maroni. The romance between Assistant D.A.,Rachel Dawes, and new D.A., Harvey Dent, is revealed on the fifteenth floor of the steel and glass skyscraper as they celebrate Harvey's bravado shown in the courtroom. Harvey creates another spectacle in the same courtroom which is large enough to try 549 criminals for numerous counts of varying crimes. Allowing the streets to be clean for eighteen months, Harvey Dent's work with The Batman is just beginning.
