Creating a magnificent spectacle at 401 North Wabash Avenue in the river north gallery district of downtown Chicago, the Trump International Hotel and Tower offers an array of luxuries and scenery. The 92 stories of the building are filled with lobbies, retail space, a parking garage, restaurants, condominiums, and a health club and spa. Offering more than four hundred residential condominiums and three hundred hotel condominiums, the Trump Tower offers the most living space off ground level. The building is deigned with three notable setbacks that offset the neighboring buildings to give an easy flow to Chicago's skyline. Beginning in 2001 after the demolition of the Chicago Sun Times the tower remained under construction during the 2008 filming of The Dark Knight. Mashing together a combination of shots from the Trump Tower and a nearby condominium construction at 505 N. McClurg Ct. the final face off between The Joker and The Batman occurred here. Utilizing his new bat vision lenses, The Batman is capable of basing sight off of sonar and people's movements, such as the struggling victims disguised within the layers of construction. An intense and stimulating scene, The Joker takes advantage of the building's structure and overtakes The Batman long enough to realize he, and not the Gothamites, has to construe the chaos in the city. The Batman reacts quickly enough to capture The Joker dangling off one of the tallest buildings in Chicago. Abiding by his one rule, The Batman leaves the Joker to be admitted to Arkham and continue his long standing history against the maniacal villain.
