After his disfigurement Harvey Dent, fueled by The Joker, seeks revenge on the corrupt cops he blames for Rachel's death. His first appearance as Two Face occurred here at Twin Anchors Bar in Old Town Chicago. The building, active since 1881, has been operating as a tavern since 1920, and as a soda joint during Prohibition. Opening in 1932, Twin Anchors Bar offers famous barbeque ribs and the occasional setting for chaotic justice. Most likely attracted to the bars name, Two face is characterized in the comics as becoming obsessed with duality and staging his crimes centered around the number two. Inspired by Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the comic book creators of Two Face developed a character plagued with schizophrenic and multiple personality disorder who is consumed with fate being left to chance. Unfortunately for Detective Hurtz's, in The Dark Knight, his chance was not favorable after Harvey's toss up in the Twin Anchors. Known as the "Apollo" of Gotham, based off of his good looks and reign of bright hope in the city, Harvey was allotted the name "The White Knight," a clear contrast to the hero in The Dark Knight. Gotham's youngest and newest district attorney has a strong desire for justice and a coin to chance it on. But after his left side was brutally scared and his life was saved instead of the person he cared for most, his double headed coin became his tool to enlist chaos. Ironically his "father's lucky coin" is called a peace dollar due to the symbols of peace engraved into it, until one side becomes a scared symbol of chance. The Batman told Harvey "You're the symbol of hope I can never be," but those words left Harvey when he entered the Twin Anchors Bar.
